Use these directions to locate the following destinations:

• 2 Lady Slipper Lane - Take Rt. 3 South over the Sagamore Bridge to Rt. 6 East. Get off  Rt. 6 East at Exit 11 Chatham / Harwich.  Take a left at bottom of exit ramp onto Rt. 137 South. Go through one set of  lights. At stop sign go straight through and follow Rt.137 S until you reach Rt. 28. Take a right onto Rt. 28 West.  About one mile down Rt. 28, you will see Pisces Restaurant  on your left. After the restaurant, take the first left onto Pleasant St.  You will come to a fork in the road. Bear left at this fork. Then take the third right on to Longs Lane.  Take another right onto Fairview Ave. At the bottom of the road, take a very sharp left.  This is Lady Slipper Lane. Number 2 is the last house on the left. 

• Pleasant Street Beach - Go back down and around Lady Slipper Lane and straight up Fairview until you see the Chatham Tides Hotel take a left into their parking lot. The public beach is to the left of the hotel.  (Shortcut: Go over the fence in our back yard. At the end of Lady Slipper Lane, turn left onto Skippers Way. Then right on Fairview Ave.)

• Chatham Center - From the house, go straight down Pleasant St. Take right on Rt. 28. Follow Rt. 28 about three miles until you come to a rotary. Bear right about 2/3's around the rotary. This is Main Street and downtown Chatham begins here.

• Harwich Center  - From the house, go straight down Pleasant St. Take left on Rt. 28. Follow that past Saquatucket and  Wychmere harbors until you reach down town Harwich. Also on Main Street, Harwich.

• Go-Carts  - From the house, go straight down Pleasant St. Take left on Rt. 28.  Follow that into Harwich and you will find the Go-Carts across from Saquatucket Marina.   If you go a little further down the road you will find the trampolines and batting cages on the right.

• Movie Theater  - From the house, go straight down Pleasant St. Take right on Rt. 28. Take your first left on Morton St. At the end of Morton Street, take a left on to Rt. 137. Go through two sets of lights. After the second set of lights you will see Harwich Theater on your left.

• Nickerson State Park - From the house, go straight down Pleasant St. Take right on Rt. 28. Take your first left on Morton St. At the end of Morton St., take a left on to Rt. 137. Go through two sets of lights. Take Rt. 6 (Mid Cape Highway) East toward Orleans / Provincetown.  Take Exit 12 on Rt. 6 and take a left after exit.  Look for Nickerson State Park signs.

• Old School House Ice-Cream  - From the house, go straight down Pleasant St. Take right on Rt. 28. Immediately after the Rt. 28/Rt.137 junction, you will find the Old School House Ice-cream shop, on the right.

• Cape Cod Rail Trail - From the house, go straight down Pleasant St. Take right on Rt. 28. Take your first left on Morton St. At the end of Morton St., take a left on to Rt. 137. Go through two sets of lights and past Rt. 6. junction into Brewster. About 3 miles past the junction, look for the bike crossing. The parking lot will be on your left just before the bike crossing.
